Andrea Dovizioso managed to become the fastest with a time of 1 minute 23.830 seconds while taking part in FP1 or the first free practice held today Friday (10/August/2018) at the Red Bull Ring circuit in Austria.
The satisfying results were also achieved by his team mate on Ducati, Jorge Lorenzo who finished second in FP1 with a time difference of 0.215 seconds from the Italian.
Meanwhile, bad results were experienced by Valentino Rossi who suffered technical problems on his motorbike and had to be outside the top ten first free practice.
Rossi's incised time is 1 minute 224.884 seconds, the record for this 39-year-old rider is ranked eleventh, following his tandem Maverick Vinales in 10th place with a difference of +1.005 seconds.
